Love is Spoken Here.

Many homes are decorated with fine pieces of art or fancy trinkets. My home is humble and simple. It's filled with love and laughter. The fancy art work hanging on the wall is replaced with tender pictures of my children. The priceless trinkets are popsicle stick creations. My fancy Mustang convertible is a mom mobile. Yep, I drive a mini van.
No my floors aren't spotless. Yes, dishes get piled in the sink. But, Love is Spoken Here.
Yes, my children fight. Do we forgive each other and seal it with a hug, you betcha. Yes, they have messy rooms. No, they don't make their beds every day. But, they know how special each one of them is. Because Love is Spoken Here.
Yes, they do have chores. Yes, they actually do them. Yes, we do homework together. Yes, we read books together. Yes, we play games together. We smile together, cry together, play together, laugh together, lift one another, support one another, encourage one another, and love one another. All because Love is Spoken Here.
Are we perfect, no. Do we do everything right the first time, no. Do we learn from our mistakes, yes. Are we an Eternal Family, yes. Do we lead Christ centered lives, yes. Are my children gaining their own testimonies, I hope. Am I teaching my children correct principles, I pray. Do my children know how much I love them, yes.
And It's all because, Love is Spoken Here.

It sounds like the apple doen not fall too far from the tree. We all make mistakes when it comes to raising children. There is not a owners manual that comes with at birth. Every child is an unique individual, and so every one of the children should come with their own manual. One book cannot cover all models. Love is the one common factor. Where love is spoken you will be successful.
