Kids and the camera

Kenzie drew this huge chalk pumpkin on half of our porch.

Xander in a tree. Mackenzie took the camera out when she was suppose to be doing homework.

This is how the kids disobeyed while I was working at the farm. Guess they forgot the part about staying inside till I got home.

The neighbor's car.

I love finding the random things my kids take pictures of. Unfortunately for them it also tells me where they've been. Or shouldn't have been.
Creepy orange spider with it's orange egg sack. Yes, it's on my back door.

Dawson brought a pumpkin home almost every day from the farm. This is only half.

I was playing around one day and wrote the kids name on the sidewalk.

Sawyer's first foods

We were at Jessica's Baby shower and Aunt Missy decided Sawyer needed to taste a treat. So she offered him a little after dinner mint. And he loved it. He sucked away on that thing till Missy pulled it away. And when she did, he wasn't so happy with her.
But he still loves his Aunt Missy.

Yummy mint.

In this picture Sawyer stole the crust to my pizza and started gnawing on it. He likes his pizza crust.

Some of the other foods he has now tasted is, jello mixed with cool whip, graham crackers, Ritz crackers, Vanilla ice cream, and squash.

Sawyer and Great-grandparents

I am so thankful that my children have the opportunity to get to know their great- grandparents. Living across the country from my family definitely has it drawbacks, but being close to other family is priceless.

Sawyer and Great- grandma Bruderer

I wonder what these 2 are talking about.

I think they're related.

Xander and the 50.

Uncle Darin helping Xander get all geared up.

Dressed and ready to go.

A few instructions from Uncle Curtis.

Balancing test. I think he's got it.

And away he goes.
Xander loved learning how to ride the 50. He now wants one for Christmas. He can't wait to go back and ride again. Thanks Curtis for teaching Xander how to ride.

Best of Friends

Dawson and Sawyer are my little goof balls. They play and laugh all day long. Here are a few more pics of my silly little men.

I love these boys!

Worn Out!

Once after a long, hard day of playing on the farm, Dawson came home asked for a granola bar and a cartoon to watch. Within a few minutes this was the result. He got one bite taken out of his granola bar passed out with his legs hanging over the edge of the couch and the melting chocolate granola bar in his hand.

In a Hurry to Grow Up.

I had to blog this little story so I can share it with my future grand-daughters.

Last Sunday, while in sacrament meeting, I looked over at Mackenzie and noticed she had an eyelash on her cheek. I leaned over to brush it off her and noticed she had something under her eye. I looked closely at her and tried to wipe it off. She turned her face away from me and I noticed her eyelashes looked a little enhanced. Hmmm.
I touched her eyelashes and asked her if she had mascara on. She looked at me with her big, blue, guilty, lash-enhanced eyes and said "yes". I asked her why she put mascara on. And as her eyes started to swell with tears she said, "I don't want to be a little kid anymore. I want to be grown up." I quickly calmed her down and told her "we'll talk about it when we get home." Then I jokingly told her not to cry, cause her mascara would run. This led to a little irreverent giggle but she was happy again and that's all that mattered to me.
We did talk when we got home and I think it's safe to say, I'll have my little girl a little longer.
