Once again it's October and that means another year of working at Hee Haw Farms. I love this crazy time of year. My days start early and keep on going and going. Lately my days go something like this, Get up, get kids ready. Get kids out the door for school. Get myself ready. Get Sawyer ready. Head out the door for the farm by 8:30-8:45. Work at the farm all day. Sawyer plays all day. Leave farm about 2:30-3:30. Depending on when the last field trips leave. Come home, do homework with kids, Make dinner, head out the door for some type of gymnastic related thing. Come home, bathe kids, read scriptures, have prayer, me take shower, Pass out by 9:30. Repeat the next day.
And I wouldn't trade the craziness for anything.
Saturday morning I headed down to the farm to work for a couple hours. Tyler brought the kids down to play while I was there. I made sure he also had the camera. Yippee for a hubby that takes pics for me. Another big yippee for a hubby that is willing to take 4 kids to farm to play by himself. Let's be honest, 3 of the kids run around without supervision. And every day Sawyer runs around that farm by himself for 5 hrs. He comes and finds me when he needs a something. He usually needs me to dump the corn out of his shoes. Other than that, he knows where his lunch box is and where is sippy cup is, so he's set. (He wears a matching Hee Haw Farms shirt like me so know one mistakes him)
The kids all had a blast playing yesterday.
Here's a rundown of all the fun things they did.
Tractor Fun!
Playing in the giant corn box.
I will find corn in everything for the next month.
Hayrides and animal train rides.
Petting zoo and pig chases.
Climbing and sliding.
Picking pumpkins
Making new fuzzy friends and memories.
Spending the day together as a family = priceless.
