Have you ever noticed that children have a way of being brutally honest sometimes. Or they say exactly what they're thinking at the most quiet times and at the top of their lungs. Everyone is now nodding and smiling remembering such an embarrassing time.
Well, this story is too cute to pass up.
We were sitting in Sacrament last Sunday when my friend Anna walked in with her little 2 yr old. Everyone who knows us, knows we're chronically late to church so once again we were seated in the back. As Anna and Livvy walked toward us, Livvy starts saying over and over, "It's Jesus, it's Jesus. Mom it's like Jesus." I looked at Anna and we start chuckling because Livvy is pointing to Tyler. She's referring to him as Jesus because of his long hair. She couldn't take his eyes off of him.
To make this story even better, later that day during Sunday school, Anna was in the hallway with a screaming baby. Her son Benson was born 3 weeks after Sawyer. He was squirming and having a melt down. Anna put him down on the floor while she attempted to remain calm and make him a bottle. Kinda hard to do with a thrashing baby. Well, Ty's class just happen to be right across from her. He stepped out, scooped up Benson and he immediately was silent. Anna turns around frantically, wondering what happened to make her baby instantly stop screaming. She sees Ty holding Benson, cuddling him and Benson completely calm and staring at Ty. Anna then says,
"You really are like Jesus."

lol! Cute story.
I can't quite picture Tyler picking up someone else's baby just like that. Glad for Anna he did though.
How funny. This mamma still thinks he needs a haircut! No matter who the kids think he looks like.
