Have you ever noticed that dirt and kids are like magnets. We decided to head up Provo Canyon on Sunday for our Family Home Evening. Within 5 mins of unloading the van Xander and Dawson were covered in dirt. It took Kenzie a little longer but she too was soon covered.
While Ty made a fire to roast hot dogs over the kids took off exploring. When they came back their hands and feet were as dusty and dirty as the ground. (Maybe because they had flip flops on)
Sawyer enjoyed his first trip up the canyon. He sat with me and enjoyed his own specially prepared meal of gourmet milk. After his dinner he sat with Daddy and watched the fire.
We finished our hot dogs and as any typical kids mine were ready for smore's. Who can resist a perfectly golden marshmallow, nestled next to a delectable piece of chocolate, sandwiched between 2 graham crackers. Yummy!
Here are a few pics of our wonderful family night.

A few from the look out point

The ant fort finished. Complete with chocolate.

Look how cute are they!

Having fun as a family.
I loved this last picture because it captured my kiddo's personalities so well. And please note all the smoke. That's what happens when 3 kids "help" put out/play in the fire.

Looks like all of you had a great time. Can you believe summer is almost over? Good you took advantage of the nice weather.
