4 months baby!

Sawyer has made it to his 4 month birth date. And what comes with turning 4 months... a checkup complete with shots. Congratulations Sawyer.

He was a little trooper through the shots. Barely a whimper. That's my tough little man.

His stats were: Weight=13lbs, 1 oz=16%, height=24in=18%, his head 16in=14%.

The doc asked me if he eats a lot. I told him he eats all the time. Sawyer can now begin rice cereal and hopefully put some more calories in him just as the doctor ordered. How would it be to leave the doctor's office with the instructions to eat more calories and gain some weight.

A few of Sawyer's milestones this past little bit have been:

Smiles constantly,

Discovered his belly laugh. It actually scared him the first time it came out.

He's ticklish.

He can hold things in his hand and put it in his mouth.

He loves to watch the kids and everything around him.

Pulls his binki out of his mouth and can put it back in.

Loves to suck on his first 2 fingers.

He curls into you while being held and squeezes as if he's giving you a hug. He also puts his open mouth on your cheek as if giving kisses.

Occasionally holds his own bottle.

Sleep like a champ. 8-10 hrs a night. That make for a happy mommy.
Rolls from his tummy to his back. And can almost go from back to tummy. He gets stuck on his side. He can also pull his knees up under himself and push out.

It won't be long until I'm blogging his first attempts at crawling.

I'm amazed at how fast he's growing and developing. Before I know it he'll be running around getting into mischief with his brother's.
