Idaho Vacation

On Tuesday July, 3rd we loaded up the car and headed to Driggs, Idaho. My sweet bro-in law Darin offered up his parents home in Driggs for week long family get together. Darin's parents are currently serving a mission in Nebraska. Thanks Herzoff's for serving the Lord so we could play at your house.

Guess Sawyer wanted to make sure I didn't forget him.

We arrived at the house about 8pm. Just enough time to say 'hi' and set up the tent. The boys wanted their own tent. Tyler set a small one up for them, but they never slept in it. Kenzie was tempted to after the first night when Ty's snoring kept her up all night. She never did though.
The rest of that night was spent laughing and visiting with each other. And staying up way too late.
Wednesday morning came way too early. We all got up around 5:30 to get ready to see the hot air balloon launch at 6. The kids loved seeing the balloons fill up and then lift off.

After the balloon launch we headed back to the house for breakfast and to get ready for the day. By 10:00 we were headed to Victor, Idaho to see their  4th of July parade.

The kids loved the parade and the candy that was thrown their way. Sawyer's favorite part were all the tractors that pulled several floats. He would scream out, "Tractor."
After the parade we headed back to the house again where Tyler entertained the kids with a few fireworks we brought for day time use.

After all this fun we had lunch and a lot of us took naps Well, I did at least.
That night we made a fire and roasted hot dogs, tin foil dinners and ate too much. But, that's what we do.
When it finally was dark we lit off fire works and the kids played even more.

I brought glow sticks for all the kiddos. They were a huge hit.

After the explosion of fun it was time to head back in and settle down for the night. We had some quiet time and read books as kids were went through the bath.
